The AS-V Pro pants have a new anatomical shield design construction coupled with Flex Motion technology for a better fit and more comfortable pant. The D3O Aero smart material found throughout these pants works by using a unique molecular structure which allows molecules to flow freely in standard conditions, giving the material a soft and flexible feel. But on impact, like a body check or blocked shot, the molecules lock together to absorb and dissipate impact energy. This means that the stronger the impact, the more the molecules react, offering you unparalleled protection. 

CCM strategically places D3O in the AS-V Pro pants, getting the most out of this top-of-the-line material. In the hip, a pro-level JDP cap is reinforced with D3O Aero to produce a construction designed to disperse the force of impact away from the hip joint while absorbing shock. For enhanced back protection, an HD foam spine protector combines with Flex Motion and D3O to produce a feature that offers superior protection and comfort.

The AS-V Pro includes many other protective features throughout the pant. For kidney coverage, CCM uses a molded PE cap for pro-level protection. For the thigh guard, a floating molded HD cap is combined with PE foam for increased impact absorption. These floating caps move with you as you skate, giving you constant protection while acting as an extension of your body. 

The Tacks AS-V Pro uses a pro cut shell with 400D nylon for its overall construction which reduces weight and optimizes wear resistance. This technology is further enhanced by reinforcement in the side panels for even more durability, especially in high-wear areas. And for an improved fit, CCM’s internal belting system allows for ultimate adjustability. This includes a stabilized belly pad and a length adjusting zipper with a 1-inch extension for the extra protection you’re looking for from a top-end pant.
