The CCM Tacks 4052 Hockey Pants provide a sizable upgrade from the Tacks line below the 4052. You’ll get an upgrade with nylon abrasion panels located in the areas of most use to boost the life of your pant and the liner above the waist contains very soft moisture-wicking microfiber. The leg portion of the pants are a comfort foam lining and also plenty of mesh for breathability. The kidney, thigh and tailbone protection is very very good here with molded hard plastic (PE) and thick medium-density foams. For hip protection, you get JDP technology, which moves the energy taken from impacts away from the hip. That’s not all, though – your lower back will thank you for the protective floating spine guard and you also get a customizable fit with zippers in the lower inside legs. You can also extend the length of the pant with a 1″ length extension right underneath the belt.
